Walk with Fellow Republicans in the Redmond Derby Days Parade
Our volunteers have been getting great support from local community parades like Kirkland’s 4th of July parade and Duvall’s River Day parade, so we’re continuing our efforts Saturday, July 13th in the Redmond Derby Days parade. Come walk with us – or ride a bike, pull a wagon or push a stroller. Everyone can be part of the fun!
The parade starts at 11am and we should be done by noon. To walk with us, meet at the GOP parade car in the parade lineup just west of City Hall on 85th Street. Volunteers should arrive between 10am and 10:30am. Allow time to find street parking and remember that 85th Street in front of City Hall and Library will be closed in advance of parade. Visit the GOP Booth July 13th at Derby Days
We will also have a Republican booth open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday in the festival area between City Hall and the Library. If you’re checking out the festival, drop by the booth to say “hi”, sign a petition for Referendum 88 and Initiative 1082 and meet other Republicans!
July Meeting is Joint Picnic Dinner and Candidate Forum – Tuesday, July 23rd
Every July we join with the neighboring 41st and 48th district Republicans for a joint picnic dinner and local candidate forum. Together those three districts encompass Bellevue, Duvall, Mercer Island, Redmond, Kirkland, Sammamish and Woodinville. Our communities share many of the same challenges and our volunteer activities overlap district lines, so this is a valuable opportunity to meet our fellow Republican volunteers!
If you’re used to our monthly meeting schedule, you need to make note that this meeting is on a different night: TUESDAY and is at a different location: Bellevue Municipal Golf Course
Location: Bellevue Municipal Golf Course – dining room
