Our next meeting of Republicans in the 45th legislative district is on Thursday, June 26.
Our special guest will be Lenny Chacon, chair of the Washington State Young Republicans. The WSYRs are committed to promoting conservative values and principles. Their mission is to engage young people in the political process, advocate for conservative policies, and support Republican candidates at all levels of government.
In the winter of 2021, Lenny Chacon, a 9-year Army veteran, assumed the role of Chairman of the Washington State Young Republicans (WSYR). Under his leadership, WSYR membership expanded significantly, increasing from approximately 60 to over 840 members statewide. This growth has resulted in a resurgence of youth activism and engagement within the party throughout Washington State. The WSYR, under Chairman Chacon’s direction, is professionalizing political engagement, establishing itself as a significant political force. This is evidenced by the substantial number of members deployed in 2025 to support President Trump and his endorsed candidates in Montana, California, Alaska, Wisconsin, and North Carolina.
Lenny also serves as a board member of the Eastside Republican Club.
We will meet at the Sammamish Valley Grange, 14654 148th Ave. NE, Woodinville, WA 98072. Social time with pizza starts at 7:00 PM, and the meeting begins at 7:30 PM.
